About Us

Indian Nurses Education and Welfare Fund was started in July 2022 with a cause to improve the standard of Indian nursing workforce by providing education and welfare.

The goal of the Indian Nurses’ Educational and Welfare Fund (INEWF) is to improve the education and welfare of Indian nurses living and working in India being treated as independent care givers, work with autonomy and serve as a team to improve health care in India. In an effort to do this, we are initiating an International Visiting Scholars Program, which will train and prepare nurses who are in India to come to the US and learn about the ways in which the nursing profession operates and works in the US. Based on their experiences during their visit, they will create new policies and procedures that will change nursing practice in India. As a long-term vision, we plan to develop an advanced 2 years or 18 months degree with focus on preventative care and emergency nursing which can help nurses transition their skills and expertise globally.
